Samples & Prototyping

How do we communicate fit adjustments after the first sample?

Upon receiving the first prototype, clients provide a fit feedback report (using photos or a marked-up Tech Pack). Our pattern makers use this engineering data to adjust the digital CAD files—for example, modifying the inseam length or waist tension. We then produce a 2nd Pre-Production Sample (PPS) using the bulk fabric to verify all corrections before the 100-piece bulk manufacturing begins.

How do you ensure the final activewear color exactly matches our brand's Pantone reference?

We execute precise color matching through a rigorous "Lab Dip" process. Upon receiving your specific Pantone (TPX/TCX) codes, we dye small physical fabric swatches and provide multiple variants (e.g., A, B, C) for your physical approval. All color evaluation is conducted under standardized D65 lighting to eliminate metamerism (colors looking different under various lights), ensuring the bulk fabric aligns exactly with your approved standard.

How long does it take to make a sample?

Typically 7-10 days after you confirm the design and fabric.

Is the sample fee refundable?

Yes. When you place a bulk order (meeting the MOQ of 300+ pcs) for the same style, the sample fee will be deducted from your bulk invoice. Essentially, the sample becomes free.

Why is the sample fee higher than the unit price?

Making a single sample requires the same setup process as making 1,000 pieces. It involves pattern making, machine threading, and a dedicated sample master’s time.

How much does a sample cost?

Sample costs vary by complexity (usually $50 - $100). This covers the pattern making, fabric sourcing, and labor for a single piece.

Can I order a sample before bulk production?

Yes, absolutely! We strictly follow the "Sample First" policy. We recommend verifying the fabric, fit, and workmanship through a sample before you commit to a bulk order.
